This course doesn't require any more technical skills on online writer already possesses. The course assumes you use a WordPress based website and know rudimentary HTML. Fortunately, the course does not discuss installation of WordPress, plugins, or what's called technical SEO.
SEO for Writers is a course that focuses improving your content so it can be better found by the search engines. This is known as on-page SEO. Off-page SEO mostly consists of link building. The course does not discuss how to perform link-building since that's a skillset not typically required by a writer.
